Do I have to be there when the drop-off or pick-up is made?
No. There is no need to be at your office or home to use the service. Your driver will service your pre-designated location.

How do I pay for your service?
Payment is made through our secure online facilty either by credit card or PayPal. You will receive a tax invoice via email and a paper copy with your garments.

How will I know my scheduled drop-off and pick-up days?
All garments are picked up and returned on Monday to Friday. If you submit your clothes online BEFORE 9.30am we will pick up same day and return them the following business day before 5.30pm. If your clothes are submitted online AFTER 9.30am, we will pick up your clothes the following day and return by end of next business day.

What do I do if I have a problem with my order after I get my clothes back?
Contact a myvalet customer care representative within 48 hours by email via the contact us page or by phone at 1-300-MYVALET. Please include your name and address in your email.

My office/apartment building is serviced by myvalet – how do I start using your service?
Signing up is easy to do, through our registration form on our website. Simply fill it in and click send.

How do you keep my credit card information safe?
We use PayPal and GeoTrust encryption and authentication services for all web transactions to ensure that no one can read any information that is transmitted over the internet to us.

Where do I pick up and drop off my clothes?
An area within your office is chosen by either HR, office manager or yourself such as a cloak room or reception. Alternatively, myvalet can set up an area at no cost to the company or any individual. The set up will include a well presented basket for employees to put their myvalet bag into for pick up and a wardrobe for all returns/deliveries of cleaned garments.

How is my personal information privacy maintained?
We value our customers and their privacy. All personal information is used to ensure efficient processing of your order. This information is used by our staff for contacting and identifying customers and their needs. Unsolicited spam mail is not sent to our customers. At times we may send an email informing you of current specials or information regarding our services or website.

What type of bag do I use to put my clothes in for pick-up?
For your first order simply use any type of bag. We strongly suggest you purchase a garment bag with your first order. This is an environmentally friendly, fully recyclable and washable, personalised myvalet bag for all future use and will be delivered with the return of your dry cleaning.

Do you charge a delivery fee?
No. Our everyday low prices do not have additional delivery fees or service charges. However, the minimum value of your order per pick-up and delivery should not be less than $8.80.

What exactly is drycleaning?
Dry cleaning is the use of solvents to remove soil and stains from fabric. It is called “dry cleaning” because the solvents contain little or no water and do not penetrate the fibres as water does. Dry cleaning solvent is not harmful to any fabric, and is often the only safe method for cleaning many types of garments.

Can drycleaning damage clothes?
No, on the contrary, dry cleaning prolongs the life of your clothing because it is being treated according to exact fabric specifications.
